OUR BEGINNINGS WERE HUMBLE

This site was originally home to Ladyville’s first gas station, the Highwayman Super Service Station, an independent station owned by Mr. Charles McIntosh and opened in 1992.

This was the first service station in the country to offer self-serve options.

In 1997 the Highwayman joined the Esso family and constructed the full-service station at its current location.

Multiple additions and changes have been undertaken over the years to expand revenue capacity and grow product offerings.

The station converted to the Puma Brand in 2011, owned by Tropical Holdings Ladyville Ltd, a family business headed by CEO, Mr. Charlie McIntosh.

Addition of a fuel island and 2 dispensers
Upgrade to the Fusion forecourt software system
Fully paved and redesigned parking lot
Widened entrance sidewalk with the addition of two cement ramps and a hand rail for ease of access and customer safety around the bank machine
Repainted building exterior
New signage
New traffic barriers
New rental unit awnings with new under canopy LED lighting
Enhanced security fencing
New video surveillance equipment.
